RDHAP's are unique to California; they are Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice. An RDHAP can work independently of a dentist, but must refer the patient to have a dental exam done at least once every 2 years. Services RDHAP's can provide include dental assessments, prophylaxis (AKA cleanings) SRP's (AKA deep cleaning). Fluoride treatments, sealants, and xrays when necessary. Whitening services are also offered to brighten up your smile!
RDHAP's can provide services to homebound patients, school-based programs, clients in residential facilities and nursing homes, as well as own their own business in certain areas.
We do accept some insurances, call us for more information. Payment is due at the time of service, we will happily submit an insurance claim to your insurance company so that you can be reimbursement directly. You do not need to have a current dentist, we will help provide a referral for you.
